How does Weaver Eye Associates demonstrate exceptional patient care?

Weaver Eye Associates demonstrates exceptional patient care by maintaining a caring, competent staff and state of the art technology in a pleasing setting.

If you had three words to describe Weaver Eye Associates’ mission statement, what would they be?

Caring, competent, comprehensive.

What made you decide to be an optometrist?

I always knew I wanted a profession where I could interact with people on a one to one basis. In my college studies, I found the ocular system to be fascinating. I found it very interesting that one can gather much information about the functions of the other systems of the body by examining the eyes. I also was attracted to the fact that optometry is a very dynamic profession.

What do you enjoy most about your career as an optometrist?

I enjoy providing clear and comfortable vision to my patients. I also enjoy working with the public each and every day.

What is your specialty?

I have a special interest in detecting and managing glaucoma. Glaucoma is a disease that usually does not have symptoms, but very slowly robs patients of their vision. We are fortunate to have the technology and medication available to keep this disease process under control.

How important is the staff to the practice’s success?

The staff is an integral part of the patients’ experience. A staff must be kind, courteous and knowledgeable to make the experience a good one. We are fortunate to have such a staff here at Weaver Eye Associates.
