Dr. Nachtigall received her Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 2004. As a student, Dr. Nachtigall completed rotations in the departments of contact lens, pediatrics, low vision and primary care at the New England Eye Institute. She also completed rotations at the South Boston Community Health Center, the University of Maryland, and the Veterans Hospital in Baltimore. 

After graduation, Dr. Nachtigall completed a residency in primary care optometry at The Pennsylvania College of Optometry, where she gained valuable experience in primary care, emergency, glaucoma, oculoplastics, anterior segment, retina and neuro services. 

At Weaver Eye Associates, Dr. Nachtigall provides primary optometric care, including the fitting of contact lenses and the management and treatment of eye diseases such as diabetes and glaucoma.

Dr. Nachtigall is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Pennsylvania Optometric Association, the Sports Vision Section of the American Optometric Association, and is a candidate for fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. 

Dr. Nachtigall is originally from York and is a graduate of West York Area High School.  She received her undergraduate degree from Duquesne University and currently resides in West York with her husband, Jonathan.

 I worked with Weaver Eye Associates as an optometry student and was impressed with the excellent level of care they provide.  Having completed my degree and residency, I am honored to return to Weaver Eye Associates and be part of a practice so committed to its patients.

The staff is a vital part of the practice. Having a staff that is knowledgeable, courteous, and dedicated to patient care is what gives Weaver Eye Associates such a pleasant atmosphere.
